Locums General Dentist

The Locums Clinic Dentist works under the supervision of theDental Director and provides direct dental care to all DRCHC (Delta RegionalCommunity Health Center) patients, including examination, diagnosis, andtreatment with referrals to specialists when necessary. The General Dentistfollows all OSHA guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality care. Compensation: $90.00 - $105.00 Per Hour
Essential Skills: · Provides direct dental care to clinic patients,including examination, diagnosis, and treatment, following established policiesand protocols.
· Accepts emergency calls as scheduled or asneeded.
· Meets with other members of the staff andactively participates in planning and implementing health service improvements.
· Performance is evaluated in terms of patientcare quality through conferences and observations.
· Ensures the proper assessment of fees forpatient services in a timely and accurate manner, following the establishedclinic fee schedule.
· Reviews clinic fee schedule and programactivities, directing and coordinating performance improvement activities ofthe dental department.
· Evaluates the performance of dental departmentpersonnel.
· for maintaining established productivitystandards and goals.
Schedule: 40Hours Per Week Monday-Wednesday, Friday: 8 am to 5 pm. Thursday: 9 am to 6 pm. Education/ExperienceQualifications: Graduate of an accredited dental school. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree or foreign equivalent. Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of Louisiana. Preferably five years of experience in practice. Experience with electronic health records required, preferably Next Gen or similar EHS. Must be available to work after hours and weekends as required by management.
