Locums Pediatric Endocrinologist Physician

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Locum Tenens Pediatric Endocrinologist Physician to join our team in Asheville, NC. This role involves providing comprehensive pediatric endocrinology care, primarily through phone consultations and occasional hospital visits for new diabetic consults. Physician will provide phone consultations for the "mommy clinic," hospital, and ER calls. The position involves unrestricted home call, with the need to come into the hospital only for new diabetic consults (typically involving a 48-hour admission). You will meet with new diabetic patients and their families at least once to arrange follow-up care. Additionally, you will support hospitalists who admit and manage most patients with phone call guidance. The work schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts from Monday to Friday, with 24-hour call coverage from Monday through Sunday.
Qualifications:Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology.Active and unrestricted medical license in North Carolina.DEA certification.
