Logistician - Contingent

CONTINGENT: Upon Contract Award Logistician (High Senior) Title: Logistician
Summary of the Position: The Logistician will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of logistics operations for Electro-Optic Systems at the Program Office level. This includes developing logistics strategies, coordinating supply chain activities, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and equipment, and providing full product life cycle support guidance. The Logistician will also be responsible for maintaining logistics documentation and ensuring compliance with DoD regulations.
Work Location: In and around Crane, Indiana
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience providing logistics support at the Program Office level, specifically within the DoD acquisition process. Extensive experience in developing and managing logistics plans, coordinating logistics activities, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Proven track record of providing full product life cycle support, including initial provisioning, sustainment, and end-of-life disposal. Demonstrated ability to interface with various stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure logistics requirements are met. Experience in utilizing logistics management software and tools to track and manage inventory, shipments, and logistics operations. Education: Bachelors degree (BS/BA) in a related field. In lieu of a degree, 18+ years of relevant experience will be considered. Qualifications: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel. Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Certifications: Relevant logistics certifications are desirable i.e Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM). Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.
