PURVIS is looking for a Logistician to support the concept, development, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and life cycle sustainment of undersea warfare systems, subsystems, peripherals, and associated systems and programs.
\n The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:Support the implementation of effective and affordable product support strategies that optimize readiness & life cycle cost affordability throughout the life cycle of weapons systems, including Engineering Change Proposals and Technology Insertion processes. Participate in Supportability Integrated Product Teams.Conduct RCM analyses and update existing Maintenance Index Pages and Maintenance Requirements Cards using Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) editing software.Develop/review Provisioning Technical Data using the Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS).Assist in Item Unique Identification (IUID) asset tracking and spares modeling processes.Review and validate configuration and logistics data hosted in the Navy's Configuration and Data Management Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).Maintain configuration records for hardware and firmware installations and material inventory in CMPro. Support the review and validation of logistics products and services to sustain system operational readiness including the submission of CDMD-OA configuration work files and Navy Data Environment (NDE) Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certification packages.Facilitate material inventory to include counting, reconciling and the physical transfer of material. Qualifications/Experience:3-7 years of experience in integrated logistics support to include logistics principles, practices and processes.Proficiency in Navy logistics and CM databases (i.e., building a work file in CDMD-OA (Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture), provisioning with ICAPS, developing ILS Certifications with NDE, developing MIPs/MRCs with PMS editing software.Must have strong CMPro experience.Ability to support the inventory, reconciliation and transfer of warehouse material.Accuracy and attention to detail.Highly motivated individual with ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
