Position Overview: This position supports the United States Coast Guard as a Logistician Level III (Offsite), supporting the Business and Logistics Management Support Services office.
The Logistician Level III will be responsible for providing comprehensive Logistician support under Calls issued under the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
This role involves performing Configuration Management, Configuration Data Management, and Maintenance Data Management for US Coast Guard (USCG) Ashore and Afloat assets.
The Logistician Level III will manage and update maintenance standards, recurring tasks, and other related items as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

Location: Offsite - National Capital Region or remote Anticipated Start Date: April 2025 Position Responsibilities: Perform Configuration Management, Configuration Data Management, and Maintenance Data Management for USCG assets, including Higher-Level Assemblies.
Provide organizational and depot-level support for the development, update, and verification of Maintenance Standards (MS), Recurring Tasks (RT), Maintenance Items (MI), Cutter Maintenance Plans (CMP), Maintenance Requirements Lists (MRL), and CM-SETs for USCG Ashore and Afloat assets.
Manage updates, changes, and corrections to Configuration Item Functional Descriptions (CIFD) and associated Configuration Items (CI), including property values for CIFD and/or CI.
Ensure compliance with government policies, regulations, and directives in all activities related to the position.
Utilize the Fleet Logistics System (FLS) and Oracle Fixed Assets Management (FAM) to track and manage property items.
Analyze, interpret, and provide specialized information about equipment, including recommendations for practical solutions to design and manufacturing defects.
Develop, install, inspect, and revise equipment maintenance programs and techniques.
Prepare and present data, run reports, and provide training as required.
Requirements
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Logistics-related field.
Fourteen Years of relevant experience can be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
Specific Logistician Level III requirements will be defined in Calls issued under this BPA.
Minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience in the Fleet Logistics System (FLS).
Experience in performing configuration data management and tracking/managing property items in Oracle Fixed Assets Management (FAM).
Practical experience with equipment characteristics, properties, and uses to: - Collect, analyze, interpret, and provide specialized information and advice.
- Identify and recommend solutions to design and manufacturing defects.
- Develop, install, inspect, or revise equipment maintenance programs and techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Ability to read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives, and apply those interpretations fully and legally to all described activities.
This is an offsite position with specific duties and responsibilities defined by the COR.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the USCG Ashore and Afloat assets efficiently and effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous experience working as a Product Line Manager, Contracting Officer Representative, or within Supply and Logistics units within the United States Coast Guard.
Knowledge and experience supporting USCG Surface Acquisitions Logistics Center (SALC) and/or Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Veteran Senior Supply (SK) or Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) in Finance and Supply (F&S) with contracting experience are encouraged to apply.
