Logistics Coordinator

This role is responsible for the coordination of inbound and outbound domestic freight requiring a high level of communication internally and externally. Clear, precise, and timely communication is critical in this role so that the movement of goods in and out of our facilities meets customer, carrier, and warehouse requirements. As your knowledge and expertise builds and our systems and processes mature the responsibilities of this role will shift from transactional to analytical in nature.GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with customers and carriers for routing, tracking, documents, and appointments.Assist internal departments with shipment status and communicate discrepancies.Work with the warehouse to ensure goods are received and shipments are processed.Communicates expedites including the constraints, risks, and costs associated with them.Assist with processing customer returns and freight claims.Input and track damage claims for FTL, LTL small package and brokered shipments.Perform all other tasks, jobs, and or assignments as directed by Management.Navigating ACR systems: S2K, 3GTMS, Celonis,Tracks logistics movement from origin to destination using any tools availableMaintains data (systemic and manual) to support the business needs for reporting and visibilityReviews market and transactional information to identify risks and opportunitiesPerforms rate evaluation for sales opportunities and supports sales with related pricing.Participates in multi-department initiatives and projects representing logistics.REQUIREMENTS:High School DiplomaDemonstrated proficiency with PC and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust be detail oriented and have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills2+ years of prior shipping/transportation experienceTo Learn More About Our Company, Please VisitAmerCareRoyal is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
