Logistics General Labor Duties: - Handling and executing pick orders and receiving deliveries orders from your team. - Load materials from pick orders on to vehicles and ensure load it is secured (strapping loads down on the flatbed truck, or behind the pick-up truck). - Assist with deliveries, which include the following: unloading the material, spotting drivers on power equipment, directing traffic, securing materials onto trailer or flat bed, and helping carry material into buildings or areas as needed. - Organizing Laydown material and storage containers to meet site demand. - Help maintain counts on materials inside the laydown. - Having a clear understanding of company policies and goals. - Learn to use a new inventory system/equipment and communicate issues to the manager Material Handler Duties: - Supporting general labors in pulling pick orders - Assist in Loading materials from pick orders on to vehicles and ensure load it is secured (strapping loads down on the flatbed truck, or behind the pick-up truck). - Coordinate with Forman on-site on where material will be delivered. - Coordinate with Laydown Coordinator on what manpower - Ensure paperwork is filled out properly and signed when delivery is complete. - Organizing Laydown material and storage containers to meet site demand. - When receiving deliveries, coordinate with Laydown Coordinator on where the material will go. (delivered to Forman on-site or stored in the laydown). - Inventory delivery, to ensure we receive the right amount of material and the proper material. - Help maintain counts on materials inside the laydown. - Learn how to use power equipment to complete daily tasks and deliveries. - Having a clear understanding of company policies and goals.
