Join the power movement as a Logistics Lead - Second Shift As a lead on the Material Movement team this employee is responsible for assisting the team in meeting company objectives through warehouse and materials movement. This role will be the primary escalation point for Shipping, Receiving and Material Movement requests and the subject matter expert for international shipments.
\n What you'll do:Obey and enforce all CFS Safety guidelines and policies in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors while maintaining a clean work environmentLead team dock procedures, material movements, shipping and receivingMonitor dock operations and resolve problems in a timely mannerCollaborate with management to allocate workforce resources to complete assignments and achieve deadlinesTrain and certify new team members in standard work practicesIdentify and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)Identify and execute 5S improvementsIdentify, document and quarantine and damaged productsAssist the safety team in training for Material Handling EquipmentEnsure compliance with CFS Hazardous Material storage plansAbility to operate various Material Handling Equipment What we're looking for:High School Diploma (or equivalent)Bachelor's Degree (preferred)6+ years experience in Logistics and/or Material Handling Minimum of 5 years experience in ERP functionalityExperience in a start-up or high growth environmentExperience in manufacturing environmentWarehouse OperationsStrong computer skills with MS office or G-Suite applications (including Excel)Strong written and verbal communication skillsWarehousing operational knowledge Customer service excellence Bonus points: Team Leadership experience Essential Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsPerform activities such as stopping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods of timeDedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenicsWillingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally#LI-Onsite
