Logistics Part Specialist

PURPOSE:
Works with the logistics department to resolve daily issues. In addition, the LPS works in conjunction with other process partners to be a liaison between suppliers and various Plant departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensures robust collaboration for all Non-conforming material found by internal sensors such as Audit, Water Test, Road Test, and Assembly.
· Provides assignment to the correct cost center for non-conforming material
· Root Cause and Investigative Analysis
· Provides front desk support for all deviation / line trial activity.
· Monitors Production data / dashboards and supports the handshake process.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associates Degree in Engineering or related field and or two (2) years' professional experience in process quality or quality systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· One years' knowledge of Non-Conforming Material process and material management.
· One years' experience / knowledge of plant operations.
· One years' experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
· One years' experience in communication skills - interpersonal, presentation, and written influencing and negotiation skills.
· One years' problem-solving skills and abilities.
· One years' resource planning
