A leader in Aerospace industry is looking for an Logistics Coordinator to support their team in East Hartford, CT!

Role and Responsibilities:
+ Provides technical and administrative support to NDE engineering team to facilitate processing and delivery of inspection tools, analysis of NDE data, and tracking of inspector assignments/progress.

+ Coordinates inspection assignments and tracks progress of inspector results.

+ Requests quotes from vendors, monitors progress to schedule requirements, and verifies requirements met upon delivery.

+ This R&D Lab is looking to create a universal inspection method for all Aerospace parts at every Aerospace company by performing and perfecting non-destructive evaluations like Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, and Borescope Techniques.

+ Perform technical and inventory activities under direction of NDE Engineers to support commercial and military engines.

+ Will require ability to prepare parts for FPI, clean parts post inspection, package parts, and prepare inspection documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:
+ Logistics experience within a manufacturing environment required
+ ERP/SAP experience preferred
+ Proficient in Excel
+ Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations
+ Experience with Microsoft suite
+ Experience with programming (desirable)
