Responsibilities
• Serve as the logistics focal point for logistics movements• Validate transport requests and delivery dates• Prepare equipment load plans• Use rate checker tools to achieve competitive costs• Plan effective shipment routings• Monitor shipment execution and manage deviations• Manage fixed schedules and milk runs• Identify logistics network improvement projects• Ensure compliance with international transport regulations• Monitor cargo moves status and performances• Assess carrier performance• Manage logistics movements ensuring compliance with policies and regulations• Ensure proper storage of electronic documents• Act as the interface with Import/Export Teams• Participate in performance analysis meetings• Monitor and capture logistics milestone data• Report any deviation in QUEST• Obtain freight cost approval and shortlist offers from Freight Forwarders
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field• Experience with MRP/SAP• Legal ability to work and reside in the US without sponsorship
