Summary/Objective
Responsible for adhering to the end-to-end logistics/shipping operations, including the packing, storage, and transportation of healthcare products. This role ensures that all packing & shipping processes comply with industry regulations and meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Essential Functions Preparing and packaging patient-specific cold, meltable, and room temperature orders for shipment.Updating the team when shipping inventory is low on any items used within the shipping department.Report any deviations or issues related to product handling and logistics.Ensure all packing activities comply with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and company policies.Maintain safety protocols for handling our wellness and pharmacy products.Contributes to keeping the assembly and shipping areas clean.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Skills and Attributes Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Strong communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Willing to learn and grow with the company.Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
Physical Demands
This position requires lifting and moving boxes and/ or packages up to 25 pounds as needed in the Company warehouse. Walking around the warehouse, addressing employees and directing the shipping and delivery carriers is required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach for items stored 7ft to 10ft high with appropriate reach tools. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 pounds.
