Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Logistics Support Technical Order Manager to provide program management support to the AFLCMC/HBD 3DELLR Program within the in the Digital Directorate (formerly the Battle Management Directorate) located at Hanscom, AFB. The successful candidate will be able to perform work relating to the management, review, advisement, and development of technical orders throughout the acquisition and sustainment phases of the system. Work will also include, but is not limited to:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and other technical data to perform detailed analysis on assigned systems and equipment Provides expert technical advice and recommendations during design reviews and conferences Review Programmatic Documents and provide input as necessary to the design features, changes in equipment reliability, logistics supportability features, identification of technical requirements and estimation of costs Participates In guidance and provisioning conferences, depot maintenance, depot activation decisions, and System Engineering meetings in establishing the nature and level of maintenance, replacement factors, source codes, Expandability, Reparability, Recoverability Code codes and type and quantity of supporting spares, tools and test equipment Makes recommendations concerning Air Force Items that may be substituted for contractor developed equipment Makes changes to maintenance factors based upon experience, knowledge and available data Verifies Accuracy of technical data of technical orders before publishing Serves as member of a technical verification team, Technical Order In Process Reviews and pre/post publication review groups to determine technical accuracy of data, adequacy and proper sequence of the technical content Coordinate, conduct, and manage the logistics activities with the Technical Orders Management Agency (TOMA). Provide Technical Data Support Services (TDSS) required for the sustainment of technical data. Advise on the acquisition, sustainment, and publication of technical data such as technical order documents and engineering data. Ability to read, understand and utilize Air Force technical orders (TO), associated military specifications and governing and policy documents. Coordinate and support Technical Order Guidance conferences. Have a thorough knowledge of how and why Air Force TOs are inter-related and how a Time- Critical TO (TCTO) may affect several different manuals. Have a strong technical publication background and experience in dealing with all aspects of technical data to include acquisitions, editorial, and printing and distribution. Requires expertise in coordinating with manufacturers, engineers, equipment specialists, program managers, et al. Provide support in documenting any changes or revisions to all TOs and other documents that may be impacted by a modification or safety issue. Ability to lead working groups Identify errors within technical manuals and engineering drawings and recommend solutions for correction. General Responsibilities: Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff. Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, and tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s). Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation. Facilitates and supports Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities. Assists as needed in preparing and reviewing program/project documentation, e.g. Determinations and Findings, Justifications and Approvals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statement Of Objectives (SOOs), Statements-of-Work (SOWs), Program Implementation Packages (PiPs), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Systems/Technical Requirements Documents (SRD/TRD), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Program Support Agreements (PSA), EMAs, 1067s, etc. and assist in source selections. Performs other duties as required.
