Job Description: A La Grand, California based client is looking for an experienced and collaborative Dentist to provide dental care to all ages. An ideal candidate values providing equitable and evidence-based care to all patients. Dentists must have good organizational skills, collaborative skills, and will assist with supervising dental assistants and hygienists.
Required Qualifications: Active California Dental LicenseActive DEA certificationDental Degree (D.D.S. or D.M.D.) from an accredited dental school1-2 years of experienceResponsibilities: Provide basic primary dental care including diagnostic, preventive, and restorative dental careProvide patient referrals to specialists as appropriateFacilitate oral health education for patients both clinically and in outreach settingsConsult with patients' physicians when appropriateMaintain legible, legal documentation in patient charts as directed by department policiesParticipate in continuing education to stay abreast on new techniques and procedures in the field of dentistryAccurately bill and document all encountersProvide guidance for dental assistants and front office staffPerform all duties assigned by the Dental Director
