We are looking for:
The Loom Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing rapier looms and other weaving assets to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime in the weaving process.
This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical and electronic systems used in rapier looms.
This position is onsite in Greenville, TX.

Routine Maintenance:
Perform regular preventive maintenance on rapier looms to ensure optimal operation. Lubricate, clean, and adjust parts as needed. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in rapier looms. Repair or replace faulty components, including gears, motors, electronic sensors, and other mechanical parts. Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Installation and Setup: Assist in the installation and setup of new rapier looms. Adjust loom settings for different fabric types and production requirements.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Update maintenance logs and machine history files.
Quality Control: Ensure looms are operating within specified tolerances and producing high-quality fabric. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they cause significant problems.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards.
Training and Collaboration: Train machine operators on basic troubleshooting procedures. Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production staff to resolve complex issues.

You will bring: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing rapier looms or similar textile machinery. Must have at least 2 yrs Manufacturing experience. Experience with electronic control systems and PLC programming is advantageous. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Proficient with hand and power tools. Basic understanding of computer-controlled machinery and electronics. Capability to lift and move heavy components, typically up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed.
You will get: Competitive salary and benefits package The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $32.75/hr.
Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
