General Info:
Candidates with a current badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado will be given heavy preference. If you do not have that, you can apply for this by clicking HERE! This is a full time, overnight role, regularly scheduled around 40 hours per week. The schedule is Sunday - Tuesday 6:00am - 6:00pm and every other Wednesday 6:00am-6:00pm.
We are seeking an ideal candidate with diverse experience in customer service, security, and retail. Prior experience in the cannabis industry is highly desirable. The right person will have a positive attitude, enjoy interacting with both customers and colleagues, and be well-organized with the ability to adapt swiftly to a dynamic industry. Given our highly regulated environment, adherence to rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures is essential. A strong sense of ethics is also crucial, as the role involves handling both product and cash in a security capacity.

Basic Functions of the Job: Enforce state laws and organizational policies for both customers and employees.Monitor multiple camera feeds on a bank of screens.Report any unusual activity to the appropriate leadership immediately.Provide support and backup by observing various locations through an extensive security camera system.Escort vendors and visitors around the property.Conduct visual pocket checks to ensure no marijuana products are leaving with employees as they exit, without physical contact.Check temperatures and humidity levels in the grow areas of the facility after the last cultivator leaves.Investigate and report any suspicious activities or incidents.Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. Ideal Skills and Experience: Previous experience in loss prevention or security is preferred.Must adhere to high ethical standards and follow all rules set by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) and the organization.Basic computer skills required for operating camera systems and maintaining communication and logs.Strong attention to detail and observational skills are essential.Ability to work independently and manage high-stress situations effectively.Excellent communication skills are necessary.
