Summary of Job: Individual working on a team delivering the successful installation, start-up, and operation of digital (DDC), electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic HVAC control components. Individual will work under the direction of a BAS technician. Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent preferred Five (5)+ years of experience preferred Skills and Abilities: BAS Protocols - Develops an understanding of BAS communication protocols Electrical Knowledge - Develops a basic understanding of Ohm's Law Blueprints - Understands the basic concepts of blueprints and schematic drawings HVAC Systems – Develops basic understanding of HVAC systems and components Hydronic Systems – Understands the basics of chilled, condenser and hot water systems Air Side Systems – Understands the basics of variable and constant volume air flows.
