Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team.

Scheduling needs:

Shifts available Monday through Sunday

8am to 8pm

12 hour shifts

Ability to work rotating weekends preferred

Duties:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations. Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the medical team. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health care, treatment options, and disease management. Insert IVs and administer medications through IVs. Assist with venipuncture and other medical procedures as needed. Provide care for patients in various settings, including internal medicine, pediatrics, and memory care. Utilize knowledge of physiology to assess patient conditions and develop effective care plans. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patients receive comprehensive care. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Skills:

Experience working with children and pediatrics. Ability to administer medications and perform venipuncture. Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Knowledge of patient assessment techniques. Understanding of physiology and its relation to patient care.
