Responsibilities: The nurse is responsible for coordination of all health and medical services provided to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. The primary areas of responsibility include:

Knowledge of pertinent policies and procedures. Overseeing the administration of medications and medical treatments per physician order. Communication with team members, physicians, and others as needed. Assuring proper documentation of medications and treatments administered. Assisting in direct training, follow up, and coaching of team members. Keeping the Program Department informed at all times. Assisting the Program Director/Administrator in maintaining consistency in the provision of supports and services to individuals. Communicating with all team members. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, current LPN License, valid driver's license, personal liability insurance, and a good driving record.
