Lpn Neurology Clinic

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with prescribed hospital policy under the direction of the R.N.
EducationGraduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
Experience2 years experience preferred; experience in pediatrics preferred.
Licensures, Certifications, and/or RegistriesBCLS certified. Current Alabama LPN Licensure required.
Job SummaryResponsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with prescribed hospital policy under the direction of the R.N.Additional InformationIncludes the services of nine (9) Board Certified Neurologists, six (6) Board Certified Epileptologists and three (3) Board Certified Nurse Practitioners. Services cover a variety of neurological diseases and conditions including but not limited to Seizures, Headache, Movement disorders, Neurogenetic disorders, Neuromuscular diseases and Demyelinating diseases. Academic Fellows, Residents and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners also provide care in this area, under the supervision of the attending MD. Basic referral information is required for new/Consult patients and information may be requested prior to arrival for appointment related to the symptoms, prior history, tests and procedures performed.
