Make an Impact as a Behavioral Health Nurse! NewPath Child & Family Solutions is in search of a caring, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse for our Residential Intervention Program.
Services in this program aim to provide diagnostic clarity and behavioral stabilization for each youth by providing strengths-based interventions, a relationship-centered environment, and an array of individualized mental health services.
Location: This position will work primarily at our East Campus.
Shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM (36-hour work week) Days vary each week, includes every other weekend.

Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments. Evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment/medication on target symptoms and document the findings. Monitor and advocate for both re-evaluations of medications and associated labs. Assist or perform blood draws and injections. Assist prescribers with patient appointments, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and new orders. Assess Residential clients for any injuries or illnesses. Assist interdisciplinary team in patient's plan of care. Manage adequate inventory of medication, first-aid supplies, lab supplies, etc. Provide for any urgent medical/psychiatric concerns, arrange for transportation and/or emergency services, if necessary, provide first aid and monitor vital signs. What You Bring To The Table Minimum qualifications include a corresponding degree with a current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
1 year of experience in a related field, and at least 1 year of experience working with youth preferred.
Experience with an understanding of various mental health diagnoses. Must be at least 18 years of age. Have a valid driver's license and good driving record with no more than 5 points and current automobile insurance with ability to drive a 15-passenger van.
Good written and verbal skills. Good analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situation.
