Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Float Nurse for Full-time day! The Float Clinical Resource is a versatile and adaptable clinical professional responsible for providing high-quality patient care across various specialty and primary care departments within the clinic. The clinical resource will be deployed to different areas based on patient volume and staffing needs, ensuring efficient clinic operations and optimal patient care.
As a Float LPN/RN, you will:Perform comprehensive assessments and deliver nursing care in alignment with clinic protocols and standards.Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and communicate changes to healthcare providers promptly.Assist in various departments, including but not limited to internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, and pediatrics.Provide support during procedures and examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.Educate patients and families on health management, treatments, and follow-up care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.Required Skills & Qualifications:Associates degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred.Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse or License Practical Nurse.Cross-training or experience in multiple specialties is highly desirable.About Nashville General HospitalNashville General Hospital (NGH) is Nashville's original community-based hospital.
