Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) Job Specialty: Long Term Care (LTC) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM), includes every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of Skilled Long Term Care/Transitional Care experience License: Pending license accepted, confirm with hiring manager Certifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS) Must-Have: - Experience with IV, central line blood draws, wound care, and blood draws- Reliable transportation- Primary series COVID vaccination plus one booster Job Description: - Provide skilled nursing care in a long-term care setting- Occasional requirement to work shifts outside of primary schedule- Expected to float between similar units as needed- Accommodates block schedules- Assist with shower aide duties when required- Charting using Net Solutions system- Comply with facility's vaccination policies- Wear scrubs in any basic color- Complete orientation with 40 hours of training- Engage with provided non-billable modules, averaging 16 hours pre-start- Regular communication with supervisory staff and reporting within the organizationCandidates need to be adaptable and committed to providing high-quality patient care within the scope of their skills and experience.
