Job Description Summary: Job Description: PayPal, Inc. seeks Machine Learning Engineer 3 in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Develop machine learning platform and AI applications to improve PayPal's global business. Develop unique, best of breed fraud-detection solutions & cutting-edge technologies which are integrated into scalable and distributed systems that process millions of events daily. Implement machine learning platform, resolve machine learning problems, and deliver AI solutions in a scalable way. Prepare software technical design, develop new software functionalities, and maintain existing technical components using programming languages such as Java, Java EE. Analyze PayPal's risk systems and algorithms and collaborate with data scientists and analysts on data centric analytic solutions. Use advanced algorithms and technology to deploy software code into PayPal's live systems to secure PayPal's Global Data platform against fraud. Build end-to-end software system for model training, testing and deployment using agile methodology. Develop robust, scalable software systems using knowledge and experience with server-side development using Java, data structures and algorithms.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
