We are looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables with the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable distributed services.
You will partner with scientists and other engineers to help investigate, evaluate, implement, and connect sophisticated algorithms to our cloud-based engines.
You will design, build, evaluate prototypes and production-ready components.
Candidates should also be very agile in developing flexible software with respect to scientific, experimentation methods and usage patterns.
You will have the opportunity to work with scalable model development tools using SageMaker, AWS, Nvidia GPUs and Docker.
You will learn techniques for automating model training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring using machine learning pipelines.
You will work closely with researchers in building algorithms ranging from classical machine learning to foundational multi-modal models on diverse types of signals.
You will tackle challenging situations every day and you'll have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon.
You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that's higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
