Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Press Setup Operator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of mechanical power presses or hydraulic presses.
Your expertise will ensure the precise production of parts from steel coils in adherence to work instructions and stringent production standards.
Responsibilities:
Press Setup: Configure and set up mechanical power presses or hydraulic presses to exact specifications, ensuring seamless production processes.
Operation: Safely operate the press machinery, monitoring production runs to guarantee the consistent manufacture of high-quality parts.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of produced parts, verifying their compliance with work instructions and production standards.
Address any deviations promptly and efficiently.
Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on presses, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal machine performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of setups, operations, and inspections.
Provide timely reports to supervisors and collaborate on process improvements.
Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, promoting a secure and hazard-free workplace.
Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Requirements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Press Setup Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating mechanical power presses or hydraulic presses.
- Strong understanding of steel coil processing, work instructions, and production standards.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision and quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on press machinery.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
-Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring equipment.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: $18-24 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm; Fridays dependent on workload.
