Wearwell has an opportunity on 2nd shift for a Machine Tender to support our manufacturing operations Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.RESPONSIBILITIESLoad raw materials, precut sheets of rolled vinyl or rubber, onto a conveyor centering the mat according to production specifications (feeder).Monitor machine performance and adjust feeding rates as needed.Maintain a steady flow of materials to prevent interruptions.Stack finished products for further processing or shipment.May roll, box, or label mats as finished product comes off the conveyor.Safely perform assigned tasks on a moving assembly line within a time-restricted breakdown designated for that task.Able to work overtime as necessary.React positively to change.Perform other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONSThree (3) months manufacturing or warehouse experience and/or equivalent education, training, or experience in job-related activities.
Ability to communicate in English.
Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.
and push or pull up to 75 lbs.Demonstrate effective team and interpersonal skills.
