Machinist II – Machine Shop Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday

Overtime may be required

The company's state of the art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices.

Submit your completed application at keithwalkingfloor.com/current openings. Responsibilities Responsible for operating specific machines during machine production; loading and unloading material or parts from the machine; and making minor adjustments to the machine controls.
Able to perform repetitive operations on required machinery in the area.
Read and follow specified layouts, procedures, and operating charts.
Perform machine maintenance and repair.
Operate forklift, other related machinery.
Inspect completed parts to meet quality control standards.
Meets agreed upon manufacturing goals in a timely manner.
Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age.
Minimum 1-year experience.
Proficient in reading tape measure, pressure gauge, level, square and calipers.
Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
Pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug test.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
Lift 25 lbs.
repetitively and up to 60 lbs.
Production facility exposed to continual machine noise.

Equipment / Machinery Used Various machinery including CNC Machines, Lathes, Grinders and Forklift.

Calipers, bore gauges, micrometers and other precision measuring tools and hand tools.

Compensation and Benefits Salary: DOE
