Position: Machinist (Lathe / CNC / Manual) Location: Louisa, VA Duration: Full Time, Contract to Hire Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay Range: Up to $30/hr. (Depending on experience) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in either Lathe, Manual or CNC Machining. \n Key Responsibilities:Operate Lathe, Manual and / or CNC machines to produce precision partsPerform lathe operations with high accuracy and efficiencyRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsEnsure all machinery is maintained and operated safelyProduce high-quality work within tight tolerances and deadlines Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist, with a strong preference for candidates with manual machining expertiseExtensive knowledge of Lathe, Manual and CNC machinesJourneyman card is a plus, but not mandatoryStrong lathe operation skills are highly valuedAbility to lead and manage the machining department, if applicableExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications:Ability to run and troubleshoot various manual and CNC machinesStrong organizational and leadership skillsSubject to a pre-employment drug test and/or background check.
