Under minimal supervision, you will work independently to Setup and Machine aluminum parts into sub-units or complete units using CNC Horizontal equipment.
You will determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Often acts as a facilitator and team leader.
This is an advanced Machinist 5 position and you should be able to work with minimal support on 2nd shift.


Location:

This position is currently located in Hampton, NH, but the facility will be relocating to Durham, NH in 2025

Compensation:

$1,500 Sign on Bonus*

Eligible for Annual Increases

2nd Shift Schedule:

This position is for 2nd shift.


Monday - Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Overtime available on a business need basis.


Primary Responsibilities:

Interprets blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, reference planes, designs sketches and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for operation, material, and dimensional requirements.


Applies advanced skills to the development of concepts and techniques.
Completes highly complex tasks in creative and effective ways.


Consistently works on a variety of highly complex tasks requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve highly complex problems.
Makes recommendations for new procedures.


Takes measurements of material and selects appropriate machines for the process.


Performs machining setups and makes adjustments as required.


Conducts inspections of work produced.


Checks SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging and measurements.


Keeps records and maintains quality/safety standards.


Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a HS diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
In the absence of a diploma or GED, 8 years of relevant experience required.
