Toole Design Group in Madison, WI is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Office Director.

A Day in the Life of an Office Director As Director of our Madison team, you will lead and grow a talented team of professionals and serve as a liaison with our company leadership.
Fostering a positive culture and healthy morale while maintaining a productive work environment are integral components of this role, as is managing, mentoring, and recruiting new staff.
You will pursue and win work that has a positive impact on communities and oversee staff and project performance to ensure our work is consistently top quality.
You will help build and lead a talented local team working on exciting projects throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states in collaboration with staff throughout the Midwest and across the U.S.
You participate in business development pursuits in your home state and region as well as across the country.
You will steer a close-knit team that is passionate about the work and the communities that you serve.
We are targeting a range of $105,000-$135,000, based on experience and discipline.
Exceptionally qualified candidates who exceed all requirements may be eligible for additional compensation.
Qualifications of an Office Director: A passion for working with a dynamic and diverse team, and an inclusive approach to achieving successDegree in Planning, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or a very strong technical understanding of the Architecture and Engineering industryA minimum of 10 years of experienceA minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting firm or similarExperience managing and nurturing staffExperience pursuing and winning work that is competitively bidExperience solving problems, putting out fires, and helping others navigate tricky situationsExcellent oral and written communication skillsA strong interest in multimodal transportation and sustainable placesYou'll be great here if: You are excited about projects that transform communities into healthier and more vibrant places to live, work, and playYou like to push the envelope and advance the state of the practiceYou enjoy creating teams, being entrepreneurial, and solving problemsYou excel at motivating and mentoring people and teams with diverse areas of focus and expertiseYou enjoy collaborating across disciplines and offices to do great work for clientsYou take initiative and deliver high-quality work on time and on-budgetYou have strong analytical and decision-making skillsWork Schedule for an Office Director This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week.
We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2 days per week.
The Madison office of Toole Design is conveniently located just off the Capitol Square, one block from State Street's bike-friendly transit corridor and easily accessible by the Metro Transit bus system.
The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit.
