Provides administrative court services and support for Magistrate Judges by managing criminal dockets and files.Perform duties as assigned with the state-mandated Public Safety Reporting System (PSRS).Prepares, enters, review files and sets court hearings.Serves as a liaison between the court, public, state and federal agencies, and County departments.Responds to inquiries from law enforcement agencies, county departments and general public.Assists in developing and preparing the annual budget.
Requisitions supplies through County purchasing system and maintains department inventory.Maintains updated information regarding hourly credit for the Judge and the Court Coordinators continuing legal education.Assists judge with travel arrangements, clerical duties, schedules, mail, and other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED.5-7 years of experience in job-related legal field.Strong computer and typing skills.Ability to interact effectively with other employees, the public, and elected officials. SALARY: $20.00 per hour, Up to 29 hours per week
