Some related work experience preferred Must be able to complete basic office duties, including experience in working with computers, spreadsheet software, word processing software, and copy machines Must ENJOY WORKING WITH STUDENTS and supervising them Must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision Must be able to lift heavy objects Must be trustworthy in keeping mail secure and confidential.
Must be able to meet the public and answer questions over the phone Must have good problem-solving skills Must have a valid Driver's License Must have good people skills Major Responsibilities/Duties General Statement of Duties: Manages the Snow College Mail Center Major Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises pick-up, sorting, delivery, and metering of campus mail and packages Manages the purchasing of stamps and metered postage and the department accounts charged for those services Submits monthly department billings Oversees student mail processing and all departmental campus mail deliveries Manages Mail Service Budget -- experience in Banner preferred Hires, and develops annual trainingfor students on US Mail process and procedures, as well as expectations of Snow College Develop Student Training in the fall Approves student work hours in Banner Manages bulk mail program for Admissions, and other departments as requested Orders office supplies for Mail Services, furniture, and other items as needed for Mail Services Tracks freight and organizes freight delivery Position is open until filled.
