As a Maintenance Planner, you'll be pivotal in optimizing our operations by ensuring that maintenance tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and on time. You'll create comprehensive work plans, manage budgets, and coordinate with maintenance technicians to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Maintenance Strategies: Create and implement effective maintenance strategies aligned with our business objectives.Optimize Work Planning: Develop detailed work plans for routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, ensuring they comply with industry best practices and our company standards.Manage Budgets and Resources: Create and manage budgets for maintenance activities. Ensure maintenance technicians access the necessary tools, parts, and supporting documents.Prioritize Work Orders: Utilize data-driven methods to prioritize work orders, focusing on tasks that will impact equipment reliability and production efficiency.Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with production teams, procurement, and other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with overall business goals.Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and procedures. Implement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize costs. Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in the maintenance industry, with a preference for experience in mining or related industries.Technical Proficiency: Minimum two years of experience with computer-based maintenance planning and scheduling tools such as Maximo, SAP, or Oracle Plant Maintenance.Technical Knowledge: Ability to read, understand, and maintain as-built drawings and schematics—strong understanding of preventative maintenance, maintenance planning, and industry standards.IT Skills: Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), particularly SAP.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills. Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and reason effectively.Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical and electrical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.Quality Assurance: Ability to inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and work instructions.Mentorship: Proven ability to develop and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.Professional Development: A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or metallurgical engineering is preferred but not required.Adaptability: Experience working in challenging environments, such as mining or corrosive environments, is a plus.
