Maintenance Assistant

Franklin Park Boerne is accepting applications for a Maintenance Assistant for our Assisted Living and Memory Care Community.QUALIFICATIONS:Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a health care or assisted living community setting.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:Have a heart to serve Seniors.Have a minimum of one-year prior experience.Have serious attention to detail.Be very dependable.Want to work as part of a team.Have the ability to work patiently and appropriately with residents who may have significant problems with memory, reasoning, and/or other cognitive skills.Be willing to undergo a drug and background screen in accordance with local law/regulations.
Observe safety regulations and requirements at all timesSchedule routine preventative maintenance for vehicles and keeps vehicles in good repair at all timesMaintain the cleanliness of the vehicles, inside and outAssist in gathering residents before and during outings and ensures the safety of the residents at all timesKeep records and schedules of individual resident requestsCalculate group trip costs, obtains charge paperwork from residents and forwards billing to the Business Office ManagerRecord mileage and maintains vehicle logWe are managed by The Franklin Companies based here in San Antonio, voted one of the city's best places to work in 2014 and 2016.
