Maintenance Coordinator

This position is essential in the coordination and management of our planned maintenance programs. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working directly with Maintenance and other plant staff.
Essential Job Duties: Coordinate and schedule maintenance work and materials.Issue, track and close out completed work orders.Prioritize any backlog work orders with the Maintenance Manager for completion.Continuous review of PM work orders as they relate to equipment history.Develop an understanding of equipment and machinery to serve as a resource to plant teams.Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to identify trends and reporting requirements.Work with the Maintenance Manager and staff to establish workable schedules for PM activities and projects.Work closely with purchasing to ensure parts availability and stock programs.Input new equipment and maintenance requirements into PM program.Collaborate with other Maintenance Planners to share best practices and improve the program.Qualifications: Minimum of high school or GED diploma.Basic knowledge of parts room or basic maintenance programs helpful.Experience with web-based Preventative Maintenance programs a plus.Basic computer skills and office administration.Ability to work well within a team environment.Hands-on work style.Physical Requirements: Be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds occasionally, kneel, stoop, climb, and walk to areas where equipment is located.Primarily an office environment with conditioned space, working at a desk.
