Maintenance Engineer

CentraCare is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and the physical structures of our facility. You will ensure the safety and functionality of the environment by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems. Additionally, you will assist in the upkeep of the grounds, contributing to a clean and safe atmosphere for staff and patients alike. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
ScheduleFull-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pmRotating weekly on-call every 4th or 5th week (3:30pm Monday through 6am following Monday)Working hours when on call are 7am - 3:30pmCoverage areas include: Paynesville, Richmond, Eden Valley and Cold SpringSnow removal assistance may be required outside of on-call rotation depending on eventPay and BenefitsMinimum of $21.85/hour, pay determined by experienceFull-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED -OR-6 years or more prior experience in a similar roleEngineer Special Certification with the State of MN Labor & IndustryA valid MN driver's license and a driving record in good standingTech college education in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrician or Carpentry is preferredCentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
