This role will focus on maximizing equipment effectiveness, implementing maintenance strategies, and ensuring the reliability of critical assets. Key Responsibilities: Predictive Maintenance: Develop, implement, and optimize predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and performance. Reliability Engineering: Analyze equipment performance data to identify reliability trends, establish maintenance standards, and implement strategies to reduce downtime. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and process interruptions, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Preventive Maintenance: Design and refine preventive maintenance procedures to ensure equipment operates at optimal levels, minimizing unexpected failures. KPI Monitoring: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track equipment reliability and maintenance performance, using data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production and Project Engineering, to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified equipment. SOP Development: Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to maintenance practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors regarding equipment purchases, service contracts, and technical support, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Safety Compliance: Support all safety programs and ensure adherence to OSHA standards, promoting a culture of safety within the team. Training and Development: Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on reliability engineering. Experience in FDA-regulated industries is highly preferred. Proficiency in predictive maintenance technologies and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed root cause analyses. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with maintenance management software and data analysis tools.
