Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Facility Technician in Joliet, IL.
As a Maintenance Facility Technician you will: Repair belts and conveyor belt components Install and vulcanize lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belting Perform duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating / cooling, ventilation, roofing and security. Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance. Maintain records and prepare reports (cost analysis, proposals, etc.). Work with all levels of management to define and prioritize work flow.
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience with building management and/or maintenance. Experience working with outside vendors and contractors a plus Commercial electrical experience preferred. Experience with automatic conveyor maintenance/repair is a plus. Working knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, appliances, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, drywall, boilers, as well as grounds maintenance Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues. Turn projects around in a timely and efficient manner. Pay Rate: $18.00 - $18.50 (Shift: 1st 7:30am-4:00pm Monday - Friday)
