Security Clearance
Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

COMPENSATION : This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position, and the hourly rate and health & welfare benefit is based on the applicable Wage Determination.
Position/Job Description
General Tasking Description:
Support the SUBMEPP Test team in developing, revising, and implementing changes to Test Procedures, Test Pressure Diagrams (TPDs), and associated documentation for existing and new submarine classes.
Maintain submarine Test Procedures for the 688, 726, 774, 21 class submarines and, develop new Columbia class Submarine Test Procedures including receiving and processing incoming change recommendations from various sources.
Assist SUBMEPP engineers to review and evaluate Test Procedures and TPDs.
Track changes for Submarine Test Procedures.
Conduct routine technical and administrative work with SUBMEPP engineers, Test managers, and ISEAs via telephone and email, as necessary.
Document changes for the MIDs Submarine Test managers and maintain historical files of changes.
Provide status of Submarine Test Procedure changes upon request from SUBMEPP.
Participate in critical meetings and conferences as required.
Experience Requirements
Three (3) years of relevant submarine maintenance experience with submarine Test Procedure development and/or execution.
Experience with submarine maintenance on Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) submarine systems as well as Submarine Combat Systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Word, Outlook, and an intermediate level of understanding in Excel.
Basic understanding of AutoCAD is a plus.
Experience with the Navy database and system documents/specifications.
Educational & Preferred Qualification
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
