Maintenance Lead

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions): This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities based on business need. Carry out responsibilities of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and other typical apartment repairsSupport the Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and any other duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Management staffAdhere to the dress code as established by managementUse proper protective equipment when necessary and follow safety proceduresCommunicate with staff and residents in a professional mannerComplete work orders manually and on the computerAbility to maintain and upkeep maintenance shop for inventories on parts, tools and supplies Experience: Must have maintenance knowledge in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical including electronic key systems, and other typical apartment repairsAt least two years of experience in resident maintenance preferred and experience leading a teamDependability and reliability in following through with responsibilities is requiredIn this position, it is required that you maintain a vehicle, valid state driver's license and current insurance.HVAC certification highly preferredMust be available for emergency on call rotation as requiredMcCormack Baron is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer, committed to diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging.
