Maintenance Manager – Industrial Manufacturing
Location – Riverside, CA
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will oversee, direct, manage the operation of the Maintenance department, and ensure compliance with efficiency, safety, and quality standards. The Manager has regular/daily communications with other Departments including operations, vendors and contractors. The position reports to the Plant Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Train and manage maintenance and electrical employees and supervisor, oversee the daily workflow and assignments, coach and provide feedback on productivity, supervise the installation, repair and maintenance of production equipment, building and facilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:
A. Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, employee handbook, company policies and procedures, and other standards.
B. Maintain acceptable attendance.
C. Maintain orderly and clean work area.
D. Oversee maintenance operation, P.M. programs, safe use of equipment, and housekeeping within the department.
E. Produce and analyze reports.
F. Supervise equipment repair and plant safety systems to include fire systems, machine guarding and plant lighting.
G. Determine repair parts required.
H. Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment.
I. Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements; encourage and support continuous improvements.
J. Problem solve and troubleshoot as needed.
K. Manage and monitor parts inventory, present and future work schedules, workflow and assignments.
L. Review and approve employee time records on a daily and/or bi-weekly basis.
M. Provide timely feedback, direction and development on employees.
N. Ensure compliance with administrative procedures, including paperwork.
O. Perform other related duties as assigned.

N. Computer Skills: basic computer skills are required; must be familiar with Microsoft Office Software, Word and Excel; must have a good working knowledge of SAP.
O. Other Skills: must possess a wide variety of electrical hand tools.

Education and Experience:
A. Bachelor's Degree plus three (3) years specialty or technical training or equivalent work experience in a plant maintenance lead position is required
B. Four (4) to six (6) years of related experience
