For more information, visit Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This is an excellent career opportunity for a well-rounded industrial mechanic with experience with metalworking machinery. The position is on the first shift with overtime as needed. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and maintain metalworking machinery and equipment. Perform installations, system modifications, and machinery disassembly/reassembly. Troubleshoot and install AC equipment, controllers, solenoids, relays, motors, etc. Maintain replacement part inventory levels by checking stock, anticipating needs, and placing orders. Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly working environment by complying with all safety procedures and regulations. Identify problem areas in production and develop potential improvements. Maintain company property and fixtures in optimal working condition. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience with metalworking machinery in an industrial setting. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques. Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, gears, and gearboxes. Experience in the teardown and rebuilding of production machinery. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, plumbing, and carpentry. Basic computer skills and knowledge of lockout/tagout safety procedures. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements: Strong work history with relevant experience.
