DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks concerning structures, bridges, equipment, and machinery, all focused on maintaining public safety.
In addition, you will be required to demonstrate proficiency in multiple trades, such as carpentry, welding, masonry, electrical work, and plumbing.
To enhance the durability of these structures, responsibilities will include constructing concrete formwork, finishing concrete surfaces, installing environmental controls, creating temporary supports, welding metal components, and painting under the direction of a supervisor.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and replacement of structures like bridges, culverts, and buildings, employing advanced skills across various disciplines.
You will also operate different construction equipment, including welders, concrete saws, and power tools, to complete assigned tasks, while performing maintenance and minor repairs on the District's office facilities to ensure all equipment is functional and safe for use in the field and maintenance shed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
