The Headlines: In the role of Maintenance Supervisor-Packaging working in Elkton, VA you will be part of the Packaging Team in Brewery Operations. You will be responsible for driving functional problem solving, innovations and process improvement of assets, processes, and technology. You will provide support and expertise for asset management, machine availability, reliability and performance. This role also provides leadership for optimal functioning and reliability of brewery assets and processes.
You will lead the Packaging Equipment Specialist Team, towards the vision of a high performance team culture and drive change management initiatives to continually improve both plant and process operations to meet World Class Operations Standards.
This position reports to the Asset Care Manager-Packaging and works closely with maintenance leads, process leads, line leads, skilled trades & packaging operators.
The Responsibilities: Most importantly, you will directly lead a team of talented colleagues and a large team of indirect colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations.Provides leadership for optimal functioning and reliability of brewery equipment and processes.Supports packaging equipment reliability.Creates a team and environment to ensure equipment and process optimization.Provides leadership and support for asset management strategy implementation.Manage designated plant capital and expense projects from start to finish.Coaches, develops and mentors equipment specialists in building, maintaining and improving equipment expertise capability and ownership.The Other Qualifications: You are an authentic leader. You value and respect differences and believe diversity with inclusion is the key to collaboration and a winning team culture.Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment.We prefer you have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical degree or equivalent experience required.
