Maintenance Supervisor -Skyline Mine

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:Responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and processes by maximizing the effective utilization of the resources provided.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Supervise and provide direction to hourly employees in continuous miner, longwall maintenance and/or utility work.Plans, organizes, schedules and coordinates with Shift Supervisor all maintenance and/or utility projects.Supervises all aspects of safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and processes.Implements and maintains compliance with all safety policies and procedures.Task training of personnel as required.PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Minimum of five (5) years of underground coal mining maintenance experiencePrevious supervisory experience preferredExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent communications skills both written and oralExcellent safety and attendance recordUtah Mine Foreman Certification or ability to obtainMSHA Electrical CertificationWillingness to work weekendsPOSITION WILL REPORT TO: Maintenance Coordinator
