Maintenance Technician [76246]

We're looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to support daily facility needs and ensure safe and efficient operations for a Luxury Retailer. This is a 12 month opportunity with benefits.
The role is fully on-site in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Key responsibilities include:
User Support: Respond promptly to user requests, set up/take down audiovisual equipment, and maintain building cleanliness.Maintenance: Assist with repairs and preventive maintenance for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and general facility equipment, utilizing various tools and equipment.Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards.
Use personal protective equipment as required.Operations Management: Handle Facilities Service requests, manage paper inventory for copy areas, and assist with personnel relocations.Reporting: Provide daily updates on work ticket status, inventory usage, and completed tasks.Standards Compliance: Test emergency systems to meet NFPA and OSHA standards, supporting corporate sustainability efforts. Qualifications: High school diploma with technical/vocational training.8-10 years of relevant experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.Knowledge of PLCs, electronic testing equipment, and power tools.Familiarity with blueprints and maintenance manuals.Experience with lifts and material-handling equipment; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
