Maintenance Technician Generalist - 2Nd/3Rd Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Generalist - 2nd/3rd Shift Location: Omaha, NE, US (Onsite) Salary: USD $23.95 – $34.20 / hr (Shift increases: $0.75 for 2nd shift, $1.75 for 3rd shift; potential for overtime) Job Overview: We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts at our Omaha, NE facility. The facility operates five days a week with potential for overtime and produces bacon and bacon toppings. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment in a food processing environment.Provide technical support across all phases of operation.Read and interpret technical and training manuals.Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and maintain accurate records.Perform general housekeeping duties and comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.Rotate through various positions as needed.Demonstrate proficiency in multiple skill clusters including basic electrical, electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.Engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, and reaching, and be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds.Requirements: Minimum of one year of maintenance work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.Strong communication skills and the ability to understand technical and training manuals.Previous experience, special training, and formal education in a mechanical capacity preferred.Additional Information: Shift increases: $0.75 for 2nd shift, $1.75 for 3rd shift.The facility is currently not accepting rehires.
