Oversees the repair and maintenance of buildings and mechanical equipment installed in these buildings. They ensure timely installation and upkeep of the company's property and appliance systems to ensure operational effectiveness. They will have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have the aptitude to undertake administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc. Duties, Responsibilities and Required Skills: Must demonstrate ability to work effectively under a substantial workload, time constraints, frequent interruptions, and conflicting and/or shifting priorities.Make recommendations to maintain a proper inventory of supplies and tools sufficient for turning unitsDismantling machines or equipment, replacing defective parts and motors, and adjusting feed mechanismsReplacing or repairing machine beltsRemoving dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machinesCutting out and joining parts for worktables, benches, shelves, and other furnishingsPainting machines or equipment to prevent corrosionBending and cutting conduit and wire, and drills holes in walls, floors, and ceilings for electrical connectionsEmphasizes the commitment to performing all work in compliance with environmental procedures with crafts and contractorsUnderstands budget requirements for plant equipment and systems maintenance.
