It's more than a career, it's a calling.WI-SSM Health St. Mary's Care CenterWorker Type:RegularJob Summary:Performs maintenance and general upkeep of the facility and its equipment by cleaning, painting, landscaping, general repair work, etc.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms preventive and routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, utilities, communications, and bathing systems. Documents preventative and requested maintenance performed in accordance with established procedures.Performs routine preventive maintenance on facility vehicles according to established schedule (changing oil and filters, lubrication and greasing, fluid levels, changing/rotating and repairing tires, batteries, belts, coolant, tire pressure, etc.). Documents maintenance performed in appropriate files. If other than routine maintenance is required, discusses repairs with leader to determine plan of action.Responsible for the outside up keep of the grounds to include but not only limited to, moving trimming of grass, bushes, flowers, pulling weeds, trash receptacles, painting, water flowers and plants, etc.Completes requests for service as assigned by leader. Completes documentation as required.Maintains schedule and documentation of facility systems testing (fire, smoke, sprinkler, generator, security, etc.).Runs facility-related errands as requested by staff members.Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONEXPERIENCEOne year experiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSConstant standing and walking.Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
